Air Berlin is not Air Goebbels, but it comes close when the editorial is illustrated by a cartoon where a Hitler style Bavarian cries red faced: “If the Catalans like Prussian pigs (saupreussische) come to Bavaria they will have to speak Bavarian! A Turkish cross (Kreuztürken)! Catalans, like Jews I suppose, are worse than the hated, by Bavarians, Prussians and Turks! You will find few Catalans in the world who don’t know the local language, unlike Spaniards and Germans who behave with imperial superiority. Go to Switzerland and ask about Germans. Isn’t Herr Hunold aware that “Speak the language of the empire,” which he misses so much, is what Spanish Nazis always tell Catalans?
